Ina Berniece Petty Poulsen, was born February 1, 1929, in Delta Utah, and passed away January 8, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She married the love of her life, Donald L. Poulsen on May 23, 1947 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were married for 65 years before his passing. Together they had 4 children. She was Primary President, Relief Society President, Stake Relief Society President, and many other callings in the Kearns 3rd Ward. She was PTA President and could have been president of the United States. She was meticulous and organized, but most of all she "loved" serving others. She was always helping someone in need. Her greatest joys came when she had her 4 children - she was an amazing mother, grandmother & great- grandmother. She created a home where love, laughter and acceptance came freely. She always had an open door policy where all the kids came freely to play ping pong, pool, foosball, shuffle board, air hockey and other fun games. She has a big heart and she will be greatly missed. Survived by 4 children, Linda Poulsen, Mike Poulsen, Debbie (Ian) Wink Stevenson and David Poulsen; 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Alice & Loyd; sister Darlene; 2 brothers Wayne & Don; 2 granddaughters Sumer & Crystal; son-in- law Kirk; and her loving husband Don. What a joyous reunion she is having right now. But knowing our mother, she will always be close by, watching over us. Funeral services will be Friday, January 12, 2018, 12:00 p.m. at the West Jordan 66th Ward, 7511 South 2700 West, where a viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00-11:45 am.
