Ivan Davenport

Ivan Davenport Ike Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and brother, returned home to his Heavenly Father to the arms of his sweetheart who he sorely missed. His passing was January 15, 2012 of natural causes. He was born April 30, 1924 in Panguitch, Utah to James Burris and Emily Frances Davis Davenport. He is a WWII Veteran serving honorably in the Infantry. When he returned home, he married the love of his life, Lucille McInelly in the Manti Temple. They moved to Kearns, Utah and raised their family. He worked at Kennecott Copper Corp as a material handler and pipe fitter for 34 years. Served in many callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including temple worker in the Jordan River Temple. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and leather tooling. He had a great capacity to love his family, friends and ward members. Survived by his 6 children: Charlotte (Paul) McIff, Ivins, UT; Bruce (Shirley) Davenport, Ivins, UT; Mark Davenport, Payson, UT; Gary (Julie) Davenport, West Jordan, UT; Keven (Annette) Davenport, Draper, UT; Lisa (Dean) Rushton, West Valley City, UT; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 2 Hobbies:Fishing, Hunting, Camping and Leather ToolingOccupation:Pipe FitterOccupation:Kennecott Copper Corp.
