Jacqueline Brown Loving Wife & Mother Jacqueline Applegate Brown, 87, passed away February 11, 2012 in Taylorsville, Utah. Born March 5, 1924 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of George Arthur and Edith Josephine Reed Applegate. Married A. Richard Brown in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was an owner in Brown s New Orchard Market. Loved to travel and visited such places as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China, Portugal, Spain, Carribean, England, Greece and New York City. She loved horse racing and went to the The All American Horse Races. Loved raising horses and getting in the Winner s Circle in Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Arizona, California, Nevada and Colorado. She loved roller skating throughout the United States. Survived by her husband, Richard; children: Jackie Lynne (Marvin) Orr, A. Richard (Jeannie) Jr., Dianne Brown; and 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Wells. Preceded in death by parents; son, Larry; daughter, Sue Anne; 3 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 17, 1912, 1:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held Thursday, 6-7:30 p.m. No viewing prior to service on Friday.
