James Arthur Bertola

James Arthur Bertola was born March 10, 1937 and died January 29, 2014. He is the son of Art and Mida Jensen Bertola. Graduated from South High School with the class of 1955 and then attended the University of Utah. Married Norma Jean Latta February 7, 1959. Baptized and confirmed at Atonement Lutheran Church and was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He served with the Utah National Guard and the Army Reserve. Jim retired from Hercules Inc. after 35 years and again retired from Rockwell Collins. Survived by wife, Norma; grandchildren: Justin (Terra) Wanner, Charlie and Jake Bautner, John and Joey Hauenstein; great-grandchild: Jillian Jean Hauenstein; brother, Robert M. Bertola. Preceded in death by parents and children: Jamie Jean Bertola Bautner and Jeffrey Michael Bertola. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2015, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2015, 6-8 p.m. Jim will then be cremated and buried near his children at Charleston Cemetery, Charleston, Utah.
