James Boyce

James Robert (Swanson) Boyce, born July 13, 1984, was freed from his mortal coil on February 16, 2023. He is survived by his husband of 6 years, Colton Boyce, his mother Mary Linda Brazell, father Robert T. Swanson Jr., brother Ryan A. Swanson, and fellow lover of donks, Derek Lee.

James saw everything in his own way. He struggled to be in the world, and in doing so he saw the struggles of others and never left anyone without whatever help he could offer. James was highly intelligent and so quick witted. He could drive you crazy with his excessive energy but you could not help but love him. James' heart was too big for this world and his mind was too restless.

Above all, James loved Colton. Their love survived anything and everything.

A memorial service will be held March 11, 2023 from 2:00 -4:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah.
