James Dee Anderton Dee James Dee Anderton, passed away October 8, 2011 in St. George, Utah. Born November 9, 1928 in Cedarview, Utah, son of Thomas Herbert Anderton and Anna White O Neil. Married Edna Arlene Elder June 13, 1949 while home on leave from the U.S. Navy where he served as a signalman. They were sealed October 14, 1989 in the Jordan River Temple. Worked for many years for the Salt Lake County Water Conservancy District. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his wife, Arlene; daughters, Christine (Joe) Parker and Terri (Royce) Prince; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline; brothers: Ralph, Earl, Ned and Rex. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill and Bob; sister, Georgiana. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held, 1-1:45 p.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
