James Hunter

James Larry Hunter, 83, of West Valley City, Utah passed away on March 22, 2024, at home. He was born on March 25, 1940, to James Warren and Cleo Hunter in Cedar City, Utah.

James dedicated 50 years of his life to a career at L3 Communications. He was known for his hard work and dedication in his profession.

He will be remembered as a selfless and loving individual by his surviving family members: wife Georgianna, son Scott (Teri), daughter Patricia, son John, and son Michael. James was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann, his parents, and sister Norma.

Outside of work, James found joy in hobbies such as scouting and gardening. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

A Memorial service to honor and celebrate James Hunter's life will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah. McDougal Funeral Home in Taylorsville, Utah is assisting with the arrangements for the services.
