James Lynn Jackson (Jim)

Our dad, brother, grandfather and beloved friend, James Lynn Jackson passed away on March 8, 2016 from cancer. He was born November 9, 1954. He was raised by Mel and Mary Jackson, along side his brother, Brent and three sisters, Marge, Nancy and JoDeane. He attended Bingham High School and was a certified forklift mechanic. He worked many years for Material Equipment Company. Jim married Karlette Hilden and they have two sons, Nathan and Joseph. Nathan and his wife, Cristina, have two children, Kaitlyn and Aiden Jackson. Joseph and his wife, Giselle, have one son, Alex Jackson. Jim loved being a grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping in the Uintas, where he spent many weekends fishing the Provo River and riding ATV's with his family. He was an excellent mechanic and during his lifetime had owned many classic cars. Working on them while listening to the songs of Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson was one of his favorite things to do. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family including Nathan & Cristina Jackson, (Kaitlyn, Aiden), Joseph & Giselle Jackson (Alex), Marge Rasmussen, Brent & Janette Jackson, Nancy & Dean Crawford, JoDeane & Danny Kuntz, Karlette Jackson and her family, and many other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held, Friday, March 18th, 2:00 p.m., at Kearns Western Hills 5th Ward, 5107 South 5600 West, Kearns, Utah.
