Jane Aldora Palmer Alsop

Jane was born on April 30, 1932, the second child of Harry N. and Ira Mae Palmer in Richmond, Augusta, Georgia.

She passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025.

Jane was married to C Earl Alsop in 1950, and they had 73 years of loving one another.

They raised 8 children, later welcoming another special son.

They have 37 grandchildren and 69 great-grandchildren

Jane had many callings in the church, but she loved Primary the most.

Her love of music was shared by her husband and children.

She said her calling in life was to be her youngest daughter's companion who has cerebral palsy, and that is what she did.

Jane enjoyed the outdoors and being around family.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband C Earl Alsop, her parents Harry N. Palmer and Ira May Culver, her siblings, Melvin, Alan, and her sister Shirley Dinkins.

Jane is survived by her children, Michael (Nancy), David (Peggy), Susan (Ross) Pope, Steven (GeAnna), Ron (Annette) Jesse, Tommy (Nikki), Jennifer, Tom Brauer (Wendy), and sister in-law Shirley Palmer.

A special thanks to Enhabit Hospice for the tender and loving care that Jane received from the whole team. We would also like to thank the staff at Sandstone Millcreek Care Center for their kindness and watchful care over her. She loved them all and appreciated everything they did to serve her.

Funeral Service, Saturday March 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the ward building on 2030 West Chateau Avenue, Taylorsville, Utah.

The family will receive friends and family on Saturday morning, March 15, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the church.

Burial will follow at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
