Janice Feil Hales

Janice Feil Hales 1956 ~ 2012 Janice Feil Hales, born August 5, 1956, returned home early Saturday, December 22, 2012. She was born and raised in Rose Park, graduating from West High in 1975. She was the sixth of seven children born to Daniel and Lillian Feil. Our loving wife, mother, and grandmother was a great example of strength and selflessness. Her patient, loving nature and sense of humor endured through surgery after painful surgery. She loved nature, horses, and being in the mountains with her husband. She passed on her love of horses to her daughters and granddaughters. She loved her 13 grandchildren and nothing compared to the happiness on her face when they came to visit. She will be sorely missed. Janice was adored by her beloved husband, Warren, and her four children: Shanda (Marlow), Alina (Christopher), Landon (Nikki), and Tera (Brandon). She is survived by her children; brothers Dan (Gloria), Tom (Molly), Randy (Delsa), Kerry (Sara), and sisters Shelley and Wendy (Kevin). Preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Joan Feil, and brother-in-law Dennis Astle. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Thursday, December 27 following a viewing from 10:00-10:45 am at the LDS chapel, 6270 W 7000 S. A viewing will be held Wednesday, December 26 from 6-8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home,4330 S Redwood Rd. Janice will be laid to rest at a graveside service, West Jordan Cemetery, 7800 S 1300 W.
