Jason Lynn Humphrey

January 26, 1977 — January 19, 2017

Jason Lynn Humphrey died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of January 19, 2017. He was born to Matthew James Warner (deceased) and Carolyn Humphrey Warner on January 26, 1977. At the age of four he was adopted by Artine A. Ouzounian. He is survived by his son Jaiden Humphrey, girlfriend Jen Simondi, mother Carolyn Garner, father Artine Ouzounian, sisters: Kristen Ouzounian, Sheri Rosevear, Brianna Allen and Katelyn Ouzounian. Jason graduated from Woods Cross high school in 1995 and went on to receive his Associate of Science at Salt Lake Community College. Aside from being a great dad, son and brother to all of us, he was an amazing teacher. He was asked by the community college to teach computer classes because of his vast knowledge and ability to explain complex ideas with grace and ease. He was very smart and patient with his pupils. He loved studying mathematics, computers and questions of the universe. His complex thinking was a gift. When he was younger his dad gave him a Rubix Cube and he figured it out in ten minutes. He most enjoyed reading fantasy books and watching documentaries. He loved camping with his son Jaiden and grew to love spending time with his family. He adored his son and their relationship which brought out the best in each of them. He is loved by his family and will be missed greatly. Celebration of Life Open House will be held on his birthday, Thursday, January 26, 2017, 6-8:00 p.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah 84123.
