Our loving father, grandfather & great-grandfather passed away on Friday November 6, 2020. Jay was born August 29, 1932 to Alma A. Timpson & June Greenwood Waters Timpson Matthew.
Jay is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Belle Larsen; parents; step-father John J. Matthew; sister JoAnn Timpson Richards and several in-laws. Survived by his brother Gary A. Timpson (Nuri); 6 children, Diane (Terry) Abegglen, Mark (Sharon) Timpson, Jean Harding, Richard Timpson, Michelle Hall, Paul (Holly) Timpson; 29 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren.
Jay was an active servant of our Heavenly Father as Sunday school teacher, Elders Quorum Presidency, Young Men’s Presidency, Bishopric, Bishop, Stake Mission Presidency, Stake Presidency and Temple worker.
Jay met and married Anna Belle Larsen in the Salt Lake Temple on December 17, 1952. Jay served his country in the Navy where he was stationed in Oakland, CA. until the end of that conflict. At the conclusion of the Korean War they moved to Kearns where they lived for over 60 years.
Jay worked for the Newspaper Agency Corp from 1948-1993.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 10 at 10:00 a.m. with a viewing Monday, November 09, 6-8:00 p.m. and again Tuesday, 9:00 a.m. all at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road.
