Jean Gwendolyn Schaeffer

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully and returned to her Heavenly Father early Tuesday morning February 28, 2018. Born on October 4, 1936 in Charlottesville, Virginia daughter of W.B Watson and Annie Lois Bibb Watson. She was the oldest of four children and is preceded in death by her parents, sister Kim Shifflett and Robert C. Unversaw whom she was sealed to in the Salt Lake temple and later divorced. Jeans compassionate, kindhearted and selfless nature gave way to a person who always put her family's and others needs above her own. She was witty and possessed a great sense of humor. She so enjoyed the sweeter things in life, especially her desserts and Pepsi's. She was also an avid sports fan and loved the Utah Jazz. She is survived by her children Robert Unversaw, Sharon and (Mike) Wolf, Richard and (Paulina) Unversaw and Jerusha and (Peter) Callisto. Grandchildren Jeanon and (Jake) Garcia, Mike and (Melanie) Wolf, Josh Erhard, Nicolas and Sydnee Callisto. Great grandchildren Alyssa Jean and Rowan Garcia, Athena and Katie wolf. Funeral services will be held Tuesday March 6th at 12:00 p.m at the Jordan Oaks Third ward located at 8117 South Leslie Drive, West Jordan, Utah Viewings will be held Monday evening March 5th, 6:00 8:00 p.m, at McDougal Funeral home, 4330 South Redwood and Tuesday 11-11:45 a.m. at the church, prior to the funeral service. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Park.
