Jeanette B. Hall, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, at the age of 74. She was surrounded by family in her final moments.
Born on August 2, 1950, in Salt Lake City, UT, Jeanette was the daughter of Phoebe Fay and Gilbert McDougal. On October 3, 1970, she married Robert L. Burkhart, and together they had six children. After Robert's passing in 1983, Jeanette faced life's many challenges with extraordinary strength, courage, and grace-qualities that made her the strongest person her children ever knew.
Jeanette's beauty radiated both inside and out. Her kindness, warmth, and faith-filled heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met. As a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Jeanette lived her life with faith as her foundation, trusting in God's plan and offering Christlike love and service to others.
Throughout her life, Jeanette had many cherished relationships, three of which ended in heartbreak as cancer took them from her far too soon. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother, and a daughter.
Jeanette is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Hall, and her six children and their spouses: Tracie Perin (Rob), Keri Brady (Derek), Kristie Spencer (Bradley), Robert Burkhart (Sarah), Richard Burkhart (Michelle), and Patrick Carroll; as well as her three stepchildren and their spouses: Renae Bagley (Mike), Ronald Hall Jr. (Joy), and Stephanie Scott (Rob). She also leaves behind 26 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 4 more on the way-each of whom brought her immense joy.
Jeanette's legacy of love, faith, and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
