Jeanne Gardner

Jeanne Marie Gardner, 77, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2023, in West Valley City, Utah.

Jeanne was born on September 24, 1946 in Poulson, MT, to John Walker Hendrix and Wanda Owena Simonds Hendrix.

Jeanne graduated from high school and went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a dedicated caregiver to countless individuals for 20 plus years before retiring from Murray Care Center.

Jeanne married her best friend Ivan Leonard Gardner (Honey) On September 26, 1992, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jeanne's two children, James W. Spradlin Jr, and Alice Jeanette Spradlin joined with Leonard's four children, Jeff Gardner, Trish Fawcett, Sande Fox, and Brian Gardner to make a large loving family.

Jeanne loved genealogy and poured countless hours into her research where she found many new friends and family. She cared deeply for her friends and for her numerous puppies, and always ensured their needs were met before her own.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents John and Wanda and her son James Jr. She leaves behind the love of her life Leonard Gardner, daughter Alice, and Leonard's children Trish, Jeff, Sande, and Brian as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The graveside service for Jeanne Gardner will be held on Saturday, November 25th, at 2:00 P.M. at Valley View Memorial Park, 4400 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
