Jeanne Herron

Jeanne Merrick Herron 1930 ~ 2012 Our sweet wife, mother and grandmother passed away June 2, 2012 Jeanne was born December 29, 1930 in Mammoth, Utah to Kingsley and Susie Thatcher. She married Guy Irvin Merrick and they raised four children: Randy (Chris) Merrick, Linda (Bo) Richards, Debbie (Tom) Sorensen, and Tamie (Mike) Snarr. Guy preceded her in death. She married Don L. Herron October 12, 1971 and they had 41 wonderful years together. Don said, I didn t just love her, I worshiped her. She lived a life of service to family, friends and community. She was a woman of courage and generosity with a great sense of humor. Jeanne leaves behind her adoring husband, Don; her 4 children and their spouses; Don s children: Roger, Greg, Donna, Shane and their families; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her 7 siblings. The family would like to thank Silverado Hospice for the loving care Mom received. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 7, 2012, 12:00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where a viewing will be held 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Utah Veterans Memorial Park.
