Jeannine Johnson

Jeannine Morrow Johnson was born on February 10, 1960, and passed away on July 16, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her parents Leo W. Morrow and Joan Jessen Morrow, and her in-laws Joseph Wallace Johnson and Muriel Nielsen Johnson.

Jeannine attended Ricks College, now BYU-Idaho, where she met Max Wayne Johnson, whom she married in the Salt Lake City Temple on December 29, 1979.

Jeannine enjoyed reading, tatting, flowers, and scrapbooking. She especially enjoyed being a marching band mom to her three children. She enjoyed helping with boys' and girls' camps, volunteering at school, and helping with her kids' many activities. She especially enjoyed going on rides with Max to see the various wild life found in the area around their neighborhood, both in Aloha, Oregon, and in West Jordan, Utah. She enjoyed serving in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in girl's camp, primary, and doing family history work.

She is survived by her husband Max, her daughter Melinda Kearly-Pacheco (Paris), her granddaughter Hero, and her sons Danny and David Johnson (Kalin). She is also survived by a brother Leonard Morrow (Diane) and a sister Lorna MacDonald (Paul).

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 19, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where a viewing will be held from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to funeral services.

Interment will be at the West Jordan City Cemetery, 7925 South 1300 West, West Jordan, Utah.
