Jill Watchorn Abbott, age 80, beloved wife, mother and grandma, passed away May 3, 2023, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jill was born February 1, 1943, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Melvin and Mildred Watchorn. Jill married LeRoy Abbott on December 30, 1961, in Salt lake City, Utah. Married for 61 years where they have been joined at the hip ever since. Jill loved her family so much and was very proud of them.

Jill adored and cherished her friends. Jill was well known for her heart of Gold and her lipstick.

Jill held many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was happy to serve.

She worked at 7-11 for over 25 years in Human Resources and was loved by all. She will be very missed by family and friends.

Survived by her loving husband, LeRoy Abbott and her children, Kim (Dave) Carter, Cory (Tara) Abbott, Michelle Jordan; 5 grandkids, and 4 Great-grandkids.

Preceded in death by parents, parents-in-laws, brother, aunts and uncles, all whom she loved.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 12, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Sunnybrook Ward, 2976 Winchester Drive, West Valley City, with a viewing 10:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the Funeral Service.

Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Avenue & "N" Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
