Jennie Norma Soderborg-Harris died peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2023, as a result of having too many birthdays. She was one week shy of her 96th birthday.
She was born March 6, 1927. She married her eternal companion, Don Lloyd Soderborg, October 10, 1946. He preceded her in death after 48 years of marriage. She later met and married Don Harris who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughters; Janene Allen (Lynn), Karen Mecham (Bob), Becky Millet (Val), Kris Martinez Griffiths and Elaine Arnold Powers.
She also had a son, Don Mac Soderborg who died in infancy.
She was proud of her large posterity beginning with her five fabulous daughters. She had 21 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
Norma was a talented pianist, singer and seamstress.
She served in many LDS church callings. Her favorite was teaching in Relief Society.
She served an LDS mission in Nauvoo, Illinois when she was 75 years old.
She was a very friendly and outgoing person and easily made friends of which she had many.
We as a family were greatly blessed by her example of service to others and her faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We love and will greatly miss her. We are grateful that she is finally at peace with her family on the other side of the veil.
