Jeraldeane “Jeri” Thomas White was born to Leo and Virginia Thomas in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 11, 1932.
She married Justin Chad White in the Salt Lake Temple on June 26, 1950. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in many calling throughout her life, including a couple’s mission, three consecutive genealogy missions and temple worker. She was a stay-at-home mother and loved quilting, knitting, crocheting, painting, sewing, cooking (baked amazing rolls). Her greatest love in this life was her family, after that her driving passion was to find all of her deceased ancestors and ensure that their temple work was completed. She was proud of her pioneer heritage and was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Association. She supported her husband through thick and thin for 56 years of marriage.
Jeri left this mortal estate and was reunited with her eternal companion; two sons; her many loved ones and many ancestors that she did genealogy for over the course of her life on February 4, 2022.
She is survived by Jeff (Susan), Greg (Lyndee), Bryan (JoAnn) Jan (Shawn) Crane; 18 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; her siblings Judy, Karen and Fred.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chad; her two sons David Conrad and Joseph L.; her parents, Leo and Virginia Thomas; brothers Leo Rees Jr., Joseph Charles; and sister Bessie Maureen.
We want to give a warm and loving thank you to all of her friends at Legacy Memory Care, Taylorsville, Canyon Home Care & Hospice, all of her friends/care givers at Legacy.
Her funeral services will be held at the Magna East Stake Center, 2875 South 8000 West, Magna, Utah on Wednesday, February 9th at 12:00 noon. There will be a viewing at 11:00 – 11:45 prior to the funeral. The interment will be at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Murray, Utah.
