Jerrold Hansen

"Its hard to forget someone who gave us so much to remember."

Jerrold Richard Hansen passed away peacefully Monday, July 3, 2023, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the age of 87. He was surrounded by his loving family, friends, and caretakers.

Jerrold was born July 20, 1935, in Castledale, Utah. He married the love of his life Beatrice Manning on October 8, 1957, they were later sealed in the LDS Temple. They resided with their family in Castledale, Green River, and West Valley City, Utah. Jerrold worked for and retired from Questar Gas after 33 years of service. His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, and tinkering with many projects. He enjoyed camping with his family at Rockport Reservoir and Joe's Valley. Jerrold and Beatrice raised and loved many dogs throughout their life together.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Beatrice Manning Hansen, parents LeMarr Richie Hansen, and Verda Seely. He is survived by 4 children, Gordon Jay (Lonnie) Hansen, Douglas Ray (Carol) Hansen, Craig Richard (Val) Hansen, Laurie Ann Hansen, 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandchild.

Celebration of Life and viewing will be held at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So Redwood Road, Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 10:00 AM - Noon. Graveside services will follow at Valley View Memorial Park located at 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, Utah.
