Jessica Ann Stone Anderson

Jessica Ann Anderson (Stone), our sweetie pie, 28, of West Valley City, UT passed away on September 7, 2019, surrounded by her husband, sister and parents, after a 2 year battle with brain cancer. She graduated from Kearns High School in 2009. She loved animals and especially her favorite dog Trixie. She loved to volunteer at the West Valley City Animal shelter where she was able to care for and walk the dogs.

She had a love for the outdoors. She loved camping, hiking and spending time with her family. She had a special bond with her cousins and she loved sleepovers at Grandma's house, Easter egg hunts, and many family parties and get togethers.

She had a beautiful smile even during the hard times and she made everyone who met her feel better and have a warm feeling. Even though she was so terribly ill, she stayed positive and had an optimistic outlook on life. She loved watching movies and Little House On the Prairie and Saved By The Bell with her best friend and twin sister Erica.

After a 5 year courtship with the one and only love of her life, Randy Anderson, they were married June 21, 2014. They enjoyed cooking together, going to movies, 4 wheeling and camping. Their marriage was always full of love and devotion.

We will miss our sweetie pie so much and has left a big hole in our hearts that can never be replaced.

She is survived by her husband, Randy Anderson; parents Scott and Carol Stone; her twin sister Erica; and brother-in-law Brook Miller; grandparents, Terrell and Ann Stone; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Roger and Arlene Stephens; and uncle, Del Sego.

Our family would like to thank all the caring and compassionate doctors, nurses and staff at the Huntsman center, U of U hospital and the Huntsman at Home and CNS Hospice for all of their love and support over the last 2 years and especially the last 3 months. They have meant so much to us in helping us care for our daughter Jessica, especially in her last week of life. We love them all very much.

Services will be held Friday, September 13, 2019, 11:00 am, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meeting house, 6175 W. Borax Ave. Viewings will be held Thursday, Sept. 12th, 5-8:00 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd. and again prior to services at the church from 10-10:45 am. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park , 4400 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT.
