Jimmy Edward Pieros

Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Jimmy Edward Pieros, passed away July 27, 2015 in Bountiful, Utah, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 30, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of James John and Louise Matilda Barfuss Pieros. On July 27, 1962, he married his sweetheart Lynnette Kaye Rasmussen in Salt Lake City, Utah; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He retired from Bonneville News and later worked for Utah Auto Auctions. He enjoyed the simple things in life: time spent with family, food, and trips to the Oregon coast and Colorado. Jimmy was a soft spoken gentleman who was a friend to all. Survived by his wife, Lynn of 53 years; daughter, Terri Lynne Pieros-Kennedy; son, Rick (Heidi) Pieros; daughter, Traci Lee Lomax; 5 grandchildren, John, Christopher, Tyler, Hailey, and Ivy; 3 great-grandchildren, Faye, Vincent, and Jasmine; sisters, Pauline Robinson and Laura Bult. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, James John Jr., and George John. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2015, 1:30 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road.
