John Caruso

John Caruso, 83, passed away February 14, 2015 when his sweetheart, Jean, came for him. Born May 29, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of James and Mary Arnone Caruso. John married his "sweetie", Jean Notarianni, November 5, 1960. Together they had three wonderful children Jamie, Carma and Johnny. John was a hard worker for many years at Tooele Army Depot. After his retirement he worked part time at Steve Harris Import where he had many friends. John always had a smile on his face and was a "peace maker". He leaves behind his son, John, who was "his best friend"; daughter, Carma, whom he loved so much; his "coffee buddies" and special brothers, Dean and Tony; his brother, Jimmy (Jean); sisters, Fran (John) Hardy, Carolyn (Ron) Powell; and many special nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by is parents; son, Jamie; wife, Jean; sisters Antoinette Bryant and Rose Gilmore. Memorial services will be held Friday, February 20, 2015, 9:00 a.m. at St. Martin DePorres Church, 4914 South 2200 West where a Rosary will be held, 8:30 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
