John Chadwick

John Michael "Mike" Chadwick passed away on February 6, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah, after a sudden illness. He was born on January 5, 1969, to John Larry Chadwick and Carma Meriwether Chadwick. Mike spent his entire life in Utah, where he met and married the love of his life, Julie June Chadwick. Together, they shared a deep bond and were overjoyed to welcome their beloved son, John Brady Chadwick, into their lives.

Mike found joy in life's simple pleasures. As a child, he loved playing practical jokes and took great delight in making people laugh. He had a warm and kind spirit, always wanting to see those around him smile. Whether through a joke, a funny movie, or a classic sitcom, he had a knack for bringing lightheartedness to any moment. His love for his family was unwavering, and he cherished the time spent with them. He is survived by his father, John Larry Chadwick, and stepmother, Nancy Chadwick; his mother, Carma Meriwether Jessop; his sister, Amy Sheppard, and brother-in-law, Roy Sheppard; his son, John Brady Chadwick; his sister, Sara Love Albert; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mike was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julie June Chadwick; his stepfather, George Washington Jessop; both sets of grandparents; two uncles; and two cousins. A celebration of life service will be held in the spring. The family will share details with friends and loved ones at a later date. Mike always made sure to tell us, "Have an excellent night," when we were going to bed. So, in honor of Mike - have an excellent night.
