John Gamboa

John Gamboa 1939 ~ 2013 John Gamboa, 74 passed away on December 26, 2013 with family near his side. Born March 30, 1939 to Andres Delgado Gamboa and Placida Chevez in Downey, California. He married Sharon Fasselin on March 5, 1966 and later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on January 12, 1980. They were blessed with 3 children; John (Teresa); Lisa and Suzie (Jeff) Miller; grandchildren: Jacob, Madison, Zachary, Ryan, Abbey & Allie. He proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corp from 1960 ~ 1964. He was an active member of the LDS Church, loved his family, especially his grandchildren; loved fishing and football. John was a Computer programmer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Preceded in death by brothers: Paul, Manual, Leon & Louie; sisters: Ruby Guerro & Isabel Gamboa. Survived by wife, Sharon; children; and grandchildren. Funeral service will be held December 31, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Jordan Oaks 1st Ward, 8035 So. Leslie Drive ( 3905 West). Viewing 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Interment: West Jordan City Cemetery.
