John left this earth unexpectedly October 1, 2015, at the age of 55-years-young. He loved life and spent most of his spare time in the great outdoors hunting and fishing. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He could also be found serving in various callings for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, throughout his short time here on earth. John's real passion was politics. He became the first Professional Registered Parliamentarian in Utah. He has served as the Director for District 8 of NAP. He was a personal mentor to many in the parliamentarian world and found great satisfaction in helping people who would listen to the need to expand their own personal growth and encouraging them to be a better person. It was his pleasure in seeing his friends reach these goals. Everywhere he went he reached out and made friends. He was the friend you could count on to drop everything and come to your rescue never expecting anything in return. Preceded in death by his father, John E. Hohlbauch, and mother, Margaret S. Alderman. He leaves behind daughter, Airica; sons, Wade and John Hohlbauch III; step-sons, James, Charles, and Marc Pearce; brother, Stephen; and sisters, Peggy, Jackie, Charlene, and Charla. Memorial services in John's honor will be Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the cultural hall, at the LDS Church on 3830 South 8000 West in Magna.
