John Ray Colby 77: Left his home on earth to be with his loving Heavenly Father May 7, 2015. Dad loved the outdoors from fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, boating to ATV riding; you name it he loved it. The last few years he really enjoyed going to the cabin and watching nature and feeling peace there. Dad loved people and had many friends. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers. Dad loved doing activities with his family but especially loved being with his wife, Gayla. John and Gayla were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple January 31, 1958. They have 3 daughters RaNae, Donna (Tom), Joanne (Andy), 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He will be missed by all. CATCH THE BIG ONE DAD! Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the Riverton 1st Ward, 1500 West 13200 South. A Viewing will be held Tuesday, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and at the church Wednesday 10-10:45 a.m. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates.
