John "Shayne" Easterbrook

Shayne Easterbrook, age 42, passed over on January 6, 2019. He was born December 29, 1976 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City (long awaited by his parents).

Shayne loved the outdoors and being in the mountains. He loved camping with his girls Alexus and Alyssa, and taking them on vacations. He loves his girls.

Shayne worked for Salt Lake City Corp, working outdoors with cement and asphalt, and snow plowing. Shayne has a love for animals and especially his German Shepard, “Smokey”.

Shayne is survived by his daughters, Alexus and Alyssa; mom Connie; dad John; brother Skyler; and niece Kylie; nephew Braxton; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by grandparents on both sides; and his beloved brother Slade, who passed 11 years ago.

We will miss you Shayne, more than words can say.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019, 12:00 noon, at the Sycamores 8th Ward, 6592 W. Haven Maple Drive, West Jordan, UT. A viewing will be held Friday, January 11th, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and again Saturday at the church from 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
