With deepest sorrow we announce that Jordan Richard LeBeau, son, brother, grandson, Veteran, and true friend tragically passed away at his home September 11, 2019. He was 26 years young living in Herriman, Utah.
Jordan was a man with a huge heart who quietly paid attention to others. As he did, he cared, helped, and brought cheer to those around him. With his positive outlook, endless generosity, and quick sense of humor, no one near felt alone. He had a thirst for knowledge that seemed insatiable. He meticulously researched everything that fascinated him. This includes health, diet, exercise, anatomy, meditation strategies, computer rigs, new medical procedures, and electronics of every sort. He never kept what he gained for himself. He was disposed to share everything, including his knowledge, talents, his perspective of the world, and even his deep passion for Star Wars and Sci-Fi.
Jordan was a family man. We all enjoyed being around him, especially playing board games. We still don’t know how he did it, but he could ALWAYS win at Settlers of Catan. His strategies always included kindness and generosity, he was on everyone’s team. He’d always win without anybody expecting it.
Jordan will be missed every day by his father Joe; his mother Kathleen; his brothers Joseph and Benjamin; and his sisters Kira and Kaitlyn; his grandmothers’ Dorothy and Eileen; his best friend and cousin Jarric; loving aunts; uncles; cousins; and many great friends.
Those who knew Jordan, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives.
Jordan was so motivated and excited to serve his country as a human intelligence collector. He sustained a shoulder injury and was honorably discharged from the army in May of 2018. He earned a National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and a Sharpshooter Marksmanship Badge with Rifle. His family is so very proud of his service and of his desire to serve our great country.
In Celebration of his life, we will be meeting at the Bluffdale Veteran’s Cemetery:
Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2:45 for Military Honors. We will then go to the church at 5260 West 12600 South in Herriman, for a reception including several guest musicians, a few remarks, and refreshments at the church.
