After many years of fighting the same health problems he passed away peacefully in his sleep in the comfort of his own home.

Rigoberto was a gentle, joyful, pleasant, admirable, soft spoken, hard working and strong man. One who set a good example to those around him.  He was not easily angered, but lived his life with a gentle smile on his face.  Jose dedicated his whole life so that his kids were never in want or need.  Whatever his kids needed, he gave it with joy in his heart.  He will be greatly missed, but will live in our hearts forever.

Revelation 14:13
