Juanita Elliott Butcher Beloved Mother Juanita Elliott Butcher, age 85, passed away July 12, 2012 at home in Murray, Utah. Born September 13, 1926 in Standardville, Utah, daughter of Alma Raymond and Isabell Evans Elliott. Married Clarence Bud Butcher September 2, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah; later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. He preceded her in death. Our mother left a legacy of love, persistence and extreme faith. She taught us by her example as she worked with special needs children at Liberty Elementary and Hartvigsen School, served at the Jordan River Temple as well as numerous other church callings and assignments. She lived her life with patience and faith. Back-to-school lunches, camping and boating trips, Jazz games, family reunions and holiday gatherings were enjoyed with the whole family. Survived by children: Craig (Becky) Butcher, Delynne (Garth) Peay, Ryan (Lisa) Butcher, Jeff (Ralene) Butcher; 16 grandchildren: 24 great-grandchildren: sister, Beth Jarvis; brother, Ron (OraLee) Elliott. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Cliff Elliott; and sister, Valera Hogan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 17th, 12 noon, at the Winchester Ward, 6300 South 700 West. Viewings will be held Monday, 6 - 8 pm at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Tuesday at the church, 10:30 - 11:30 am. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
