Judy passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Murray, Utah, at age 70. Judy was born March 31, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Donald and Gail Tingley. She grew up in Salt Lake. She went to South High where she met many lifetime friends. In 1969, she married for all time and eternity, Allen Evans in the Salt Lake Temple. In 1971, she had her first daughter Amy and in 1979, she had her second daughter Rebecca. Judy worked for 20 years for Salt Lake County Assessor office. She worked a couple of years for Salt Lake Health Department and a couple of years in the kitchen at the Golden Living Care Center. Judy was active in the LDS church, where she had many callings. She served in the primary, Relief Society, in compassionate service and as a Visiting Teacher Supervisor. However, what Judy loved most was being a wife and a Mother. Special thanks to Willow Wood Care Center and Bristol Hospice for caring, and loving Judy. Survivors include husband Allen Evans; daughter Rebecca Evans; and other extended family. Preceded in death by her parents; brother Jack Tingley; sister Janet Tingley; daughter Amy Evans; and other extended family. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 ,11:00 a.m. at Taylorsville Utah Central Stake Center, 4950 South 1950 West, Taylorsville. Viewings will be held Wednesday, January 18, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and again prior to services at the church from 10-10:40 a.m. Interment Taylorsville City Cemetery.
