Julie Ann Lemperle Buckmiller

May 8, 1960 — October 29, 2024

Julie has climbed her final mountain. She passed away peacefully after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was with her loved ones.

She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 8, 1960, to Alvin Frank Lemperle and Beverly Rosella Holmes. She had four children, and raised them as a single mother, working hard to provide for them.

She had two great loves in her life; her family, and music. As such, she ensured her home was alive with the sound of music, and she instilled that love of music in all of her children, who passed it down to her grandchildren. She lived for her family, but especially her grandchildren. You were most likely to find her in the audience at a play or a concert, on the sidelines at a soccer game, or in a chair snuggled up with the younger grandchildren, reading to them. It was 100% support for them, at all times. They were her greatest joy.

She had great faith in her Savior and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in various callings throughout her life, her favorite being in Young Women.

We are grateful now that her body is free from pain, she will be able to sing once more.

She is survived by her four children: Crystal (Craig) Fisher, Heather (Scott) Kasteler, Suzanne Buckmiller, and Bradley "BJ" (Aloha) Buckmiller; her seven grandchildren: Emma, Addison, Cadence, Liam, Kya, Sophia, and Cairo; and her five remaining siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Beverly, and her sister, Suzanne.
