Karen Sue Edwards

Karen Sue Echols was born September 16, 1952 in Corning, California to Wilford and Bennell Echols.  She is survived by 2 older sisters and 1 younger brother. She attended Brigham Young University where she met her late husband David Craig Edwards.

 They were married on August 23^rd, 1975 in the Provo temple. David and Karen were the proud parents of 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl.

Karen taught 2^nd grade at Magna Elementary until 2014.  She then joined her husband, David, in retirement.  While retired she was a Church-Service Missionary from January 2015 – December 31^st 2018.

 Karen enjoyed cooking, crafting, quilting, traveling and theatre but above all she enjoyed being a wife, mother and grandma.  She loved her family. 

Karen is survived by 3 sons, Daniel, Alex, Nick and daughter Kimberly (Josh Crane) and 7 grandchildren.
Karen’s family is comforted knowing that she is reunited with her husband and Heavenly Father.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 29, 11:00 a.m. at the Stonewood Ward, 6030 S Prairie View Drive, Taylorsville, UT.  A viewing will be  held Sunday, November 28, 6-8:00 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, UT and a viewing Monday 10-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the funeral services.  Interment, Taylorsville City Cemetery.
