Karen Lee Quick

Karen L. Quick January 28, 1954 ~ October 15, 2013 We have lost our mother today to a very courageous battle with breast cancer. She was met with open arms by our beloved Father in Heaven. Reunited with her father, R. Lee Quick. She left behind three loving daughters and one son; her six precious grandchildren: Rachelle (Aspen & Kassidy), Alinda (Jessica, Megan & Christopher), Jami (Cadance); and her son, Stephen. Remembered and cherished by her mother, Lorraine and stepfather, Doug Parkin; along with her sister, June A. Knight. Karen loved her work as a Paralegal within the firm of Snell & Wilmer, directly under her boys Michael Gehret, Tim Dance and Engels Tejeda. Karen was a huge supporter of the American Legion Post 112. The family would like to express their appreciation to Snell & Wilmer, Sunrise Home Health, Hospice, Kay, RN, Cathleen, RN, as well as Claude, the Chaplain for their care of Karen. Services will be held Monday, October 21, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. The family would like everyone to join in a celebration of her life following these services at 1:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 112, 320 East 3900 South, SLC.
