Karen Davis Grandma Cookie On a beautiful sunny day, February 6, 2012, Karen Louise Davis was reunited with her loving husband, Lynn, and her beautiful daughter, Kaylynn Johnson. Our beloved mom, grandmother and best friend suddenly took a turn for the worst, as she was surrounded by all her loving family and friends. She passed from complications of pneumonia. Karen was born September 12, 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Dee and Deon Callaway Burr. She married the love of her life, C. Lynn Davis, November 6, 1962. Karen loved the great outdoors! Enjoyed camping and four-wheeling. Loved gardening and eating her fresh vegetables. She cherished weekly Wednesday lunches with the Golden Girls . Karen loved shopping whether it was at the mall or the from the comfort of her home, her favorite, Q.V.C!! She was their #1 customer. Karen s grandchildren were her world. She loved and adored everyone of them. She will be greatly missed by them all and by her loving companion, her dog, Annie. Karen is survived by her sons, Kurt (Lorie), Carl, Chris (Stacey), son-in-law, John (Rachell); brother, Richard (Deb); sisters, Joann, Lynda, Barbara (David); 20 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; loving husband; daughter; and loyal dog, Buckwheat The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Health South and Alta View Hospital and express appreciation to everyone for their love and support. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 10, 2012, 12;00 noon at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where viewings will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. and Friday, 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services.
