Karen Nell Owens, born on January 9, 1941, in Winslow, Arizona, passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 22, 2024, in Saratoga Springs, Utah. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and devotion to her family.

Karen is survived by her children, Keith Owens, Kent (Ann) Owens, and Kenna (Ron) Edsall. She leaves behind a legacy through her cherished grandchildren: Jason Owens, Stevee (Daniel) Schroyer, Scott (Alex) Owens, Brian (Mandy) Owens, Eric (Amanda) Edsall, Jeremy Owens, Tina (Jeff) Beckman, and Anthony (Taylor) Edsall. Karen was a beloved matriarch, and her family meant everything to her. She had an infectious laugh, a sound that her family will always cherish, and a deep love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin Tanner and Grace Despain Tanner; her husband, Kenneth Owens; her son, Kevin Owens; and her grandson, Timothy Edsall.

Karen's kindness, warmth, and unconditional love left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will continue to honor her memory and the beautiful life she led.

There will be a private viewing for her family, followed by a graveside service for friends and anyone who would like to pay their respects to Karen. The service will be held at Valley View Memorial Park, located at 4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, Utah, on July 26, 2024, at 10:30 a.m.
