Kathleen Jane Bingham Failner

Kathleen Failner Together Forever Our loving mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend, Kathleen Jane Bingham Failner, passed away peacefully April 7, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Kathleen was born September 2, 1943 in Rupert, Idaho. She married G. Larry Failner September 10, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. The majority of her life s work was spent as a mother to her two sons, Eric Lawrence and Justin Lee Failner. She served faithfully in a variety of church callings including 11 years as a docent at the Church Museum of History and Art, where she made lasting, treasured friendships. Survived by son, Eric (Gale) Failner; daughter-in-law, Ivy Failner; 8 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Ina Failner; and many dear friends. Preceded in death by husband, G. Larry; beloved son, Justin; brothers: Richard C. Bingham, Keith P. Bingham; parents, Della P. and Claude E. Bingham. The family would like to extend a special thanks to CareSource The Residence for their loving care of mom during these last weeks. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at the Hunter Village Ward, 6400 West 3500 South. Viewings will be held Friday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
