Kathleen Louise Stromness

Kathleen - wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on November 25, 2021. Kathleen was born on March 15, 1938, the daughter of Robert S. and Irene L. McConnell. She was one of six children.

Kathleen married Arthur Stromness on August 7, 1997, in the St. George Temple. Kathleen had five children with previous husband Monte Steele. Kathleen was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and actively worked in the Relief Society. Kathleen enjoyed working at Cracker Barrel which gave her the opportunity to brighten someone’s day with a smile.

Kathleen is survived by her children: Kevin (Cindy) Steele, Brenda Steele, Rick Steele, Darren Steele, Todd (Chris) Steele; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; brother Lester L. (Debra) McConnell; and sister-in-law Norma McConnell.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Robert S. and Irene L. McConnell; brothers Robert G. McConnell; Larry C. (Joann) McConnell; Kenneth E. (Sherry) McConnell; and sister Lucille McConnell.

Thank you to the many for all the love, help, and support over the years. Kathleen will be missed by her children, step-children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 So. Redwood Rd., Taylorsville, Utah, on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 1:30 - 2:30 p.m., followed by a graveside service, 3:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd., West Jordan, Utah.
