Kathleen Thomas Knudsen Together Again On January 21, 2012, Kathleen Thomas Knudsen, joined her eternal companion, Karl C. Knudsen. They were married on September 26, 1969, solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, September 30, 1976. Kathy was born December 16, 1945 to Robert Fairy and Virginia Thomas. She graduated from Highland High School. Karl and Kathy met in Seattle where they lived for several years. They later moved to Hazelton, BC, Canada. They loved their years in Canada. It was there they became the parents of Shawn and Susanna. Kathy did beautiful handiwork, especially crocheting. She never let a new baby arrive for family or friends without a crocheted blanket. Kathy devoted most of her life to help others. She was always willing to do without, so others could have. She spent years doing thousands and thousands of indexing and extractions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved the Lord. She is survived by her son, Shawn (Jalynn); daughters, Susanna (Brandon) and Margie (Duane) Cozart; 6 grandchildren, Taelor, Kelby, Ashlyn, Cadence, Rochelle & Michael, who were the love of her life; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Renae (Frank) Taylor, Diane (Howard) Acup; brothers, Robert (Sally), Craig (Kathryn), Steven and Brete.
