Kay Newby

Kaye Newby passed away unexpectedly on December 27,2022 doing the Lords work at the Jordan River Temple. Our hearts are broken to lose our beloved Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma and friend to so many.

Kaye was born on March 21,1942 in Reno Nevada to Austin Dale and Virginia Farnsworth. She married Verl B Newby on July 11, 1959 in Reno, Nevada and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple.

Kaye was very active in the LDS Church serving many callings throughout her life including a mission with her husband in the Philippines and later went to enjoy and work at the Jordan River Temple.

Kaye was such a loving, strong and amazing women. She always made sure to keep her family close. Having amazing Thanksgiving and Christmas Parties! She will be remembered for her kind heart and capacity to love!

Kaye leaves behind a legacy of Love!

She is survived by Carrie (Duane) Bylund Dave (Jackie) Newby Kevin (Amber) Newby and Bethany Crabtree and many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren

She is preceded in death by her Sweet husband Verl B Newby, son Craig Newby; brothers Doug and Darwin and Grand-daughters Kandise and Camryn Newby

Funeral Services to be held on Saturday, December 31 ,2022 ~ 11:00 a.m. at the Taylorsville 19th Ward, 2030 West Chateau Ave. A Viewing will be held from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
