Kay V Haddon, of Salt Lake, passed away at his home February 9, 2015. Kay was born April 3, 1931 to Charles Leland and Anona Olive Purser Haddon in Rigby, Idaho. Kay, at an early age, had a love for music and was active in his school band. On June 15, 1950 he married Faye Olsen; they enjoyed 31 years if marriage and had two beautiful girls Christine and Tami. Kay was a financial wizard and started up his own accounting business. He was very crafty and could build or fix anything. Woodworking was a favorite pass time. Our dad loved the outdoors and we have fond memories of camping trips, fishing trips and drives through the mountains. Dad wanted to make sure we appreciated nature and its beauty. In his later years he developed a love for county dancing and taught lessons at The Westerner dance hall in Salt Lake City. Our dad lived a long, loving life and we couldn't be more blessed to call him our father. Kay is survived by daughters: Christine (Michael) Noah, Plano, TX; and Tami (Jose) Lara, Layton, UT; 7 grandchildren: Marc Haddon (Jake Jenson), Alec Noah, Lacey Haddon, Victoria Noah, Cody Haddon, Ryan Noah, Elsa Noah; 1 great grandson, Arsen (son of Lacey). Survived by brother, Verlow (Bobbi) Haddon Layton; and sister Donna Gerard Idaho Falls; many nieces, nephews, life long friends and close friend, Shirlene. Our father was a private man and we've chosen to honor his final wishes for a quiet family memorial. No viewing or services will be published.
