Keith Crandall Howard passed away peacefully on February 2, 2023, in Ogden, Utah. He was born in Oakland, California, on December 16, 1944, and was immediately adopted by Harold and Eunice Howard of Salt Lake City, Utah. He grew up in Salt Lake City.
His chosen vocation was driving truck where he worked for United Van Lines in the household moving industry. He loved seeing the country and had been through just about every state. He met JoAnn Castleton Diamond and they were married on March 23, 1991. They made their home in the Salt Lake Valley and remained together until JoAnn's passing in 2017.
He is survived by 3 step children, Richard (Marlene) Sundblom of West Valley City, Utah, Dale (Julie) Sundblom of Bayfield, Colorado, and Glenn (Jennifer) Sundblom of Tooele, Utah, as well as many step grand and great-grand children.
Keith was an avid member of the HAM radio community for many years where he had friends across the country and around the world. He also loved music and would play in local bands at times. One of his favorite activities every Labor Day was to have a barbecue, inviting many friends over and have an evening jam session playing music with many of his music buddies in the area.
