Keith M. Tracy Doc Keith Marvin Tracy, 85, passed away April 8, 2012 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Born August 24, 1926 in Peoria, Illinois to Charles E. and Emily Anderson Conger Tracy. Served in the US Navy during WWII (Frogmen). Married Eleanor Ruth Breckenridge June 14, 1947 in Willington, DE. BS class of 50 from University of Delaware. After teaching in New Jersey, worked as District Scout Executive, Boy Scouts of America, Valley Forge Council, Philadelphia, PA. Returned to the Navy during the Korean Conflict and served again with Navy Frogmen then in Diesel Submarines until 1962. Served with US Navy Hospital Corps for 17 years while with Submarines until April 1971 when he retired. Returned to college, U of U. while on active duty and, with the help of his wife, completed a masters in 1966 and PhD in 1968. In 1977-78 completed a second masters degree at U of U. Worked with the State Office of Education as specialist for Health Occupations Training until retiring in 1991. Keith enjoyed hunting, fishing, family camping, reading and music. Survived by his wife of 65 years, Eleanor; children: Cathy Louise, Littleton, CO; Charlotte T. Souders, Westbridge, VA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Keith. The family would like to extend a special thanks at Mt. Olympus Rehab Center and VA Hospital for their loving care of Keith. Graveside service will be held Friday, April 13, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
