Keith Ray Jacobsen

November 14, 1945 — March 13, 2015

Keith Jacobsen, age 69, passed away March 13, 2015 of a stroke. He was born November 14,1945 to Ruth May and Virgil Jacobsen. On May 11, 1970 he married the love of his life, Terri Birrell. He served in the US Army from June 28,1967 to August 5,1969 and received an honorable discharge. He worked in construction for more than 35 years. Keith enjoyed spending time outdoorsmostly fishing, camping, hunting and boating. He is survived by his wife Terri; daughters Casi, Tracy, Dani (Chad), Jeree and Jolette; son James; sister Margie; brother Bob;15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Stan; brother Ron; sister Kathy; and son-in-law Rob O'Conner. He also had several dogs throughout his life that he loved, Brandy, Zuess, Sybil, Bo, Anook and current best friend, Sasha, who misses him dearly. A special thanks to Rick Carter, Keith's nephew and best friend, who has been there to support the family through this hard time. Also, a big thanks to Jordan Family Hospital for taking such good care of our Dad. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 23, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, UT.
