Keith Raymond Kaufman

Keith Kaufman 1964 ~ 2012 Keith Kaufman, 48, died at his home in Sandy, Utah Saturday, June 9, 2012. Keith was born April 19, 1964 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He moved to Nebraska and then to Michigan where he met and married Michele Herwick. They had two wonderful children, Connor (age 17) and Calista (age 14). Keith recently resettled in Utah after his divorce. Keith has always worked with automobiles, whether he repaired, sold or worked as a parts manager. There was nothing Keith couldn t repair. Besides his love for family, Keith loved the outdoors and NASCAR. His favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. He never missed deer hunting season and rarely missed a NASCAR race. He remembers the many years he spent vacationing at Flaming Gorge in Utah and spending time on his boat with his family at his home in Michigan. Keith loved doing things for others. Any time anyone needed help, Keith was right there. Keith is survived by his children, Connor and Calista; mother and stepfather, Art and Myrna Hupka; brother, Steven Kaufman; stepsister, Tanya Semerad. A service will be held Friday, June 15, 2012, 4:00 p.m. at the Valley Family Church Cathedral, 2500 Vincent, Portage, Michigan 49024. Utah arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.
