Kenneth Charles Rudd of Salt Lake City, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2016, at the age of 88. Kenny was born on February 13, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George F. and Louie Parry Rudd. He married his sweetheart Barbara Parker on June 19, 1947 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Together they had five children, Pam Shaw (Bill), Camille Gates (Rick), Randy (Debbie), Kevin (Peggy), and Gary (Deanne). Ken was a devoted family man and set an example of love, hard work, and integrity. He loved to travel and spend time with his family. Ken served in many LDS Church callings including 28 years as Stake Executive Secretary. Ken is survived by his five children; 19 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; as well as four siblings, Richard (Gloria), Ruth Bolton (Bill), Jeanne Dodge (Bob), Gail Bennett (John); and sister-in-law Ginger Rudd. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife; and brother Art. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 1, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at McDougal Funeral Home 4330 South Redwood Road, where viewings will be held on Wednesday, November 30th, 6-8:00 p.m. and prior to services on Thursday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park 4335 West 4100 South.
