Kenneth Harold Owens

Kenneth Owens 1926 ~ 2012 Kenneth Owens passed away December 22, 2012 of natural causes, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was born August 6, 1926 in Burlington, Iowa to Harold and Edna Smith Owens. On February 14, 1959 Ken married Karen Tanner in Phoenix, Arizona and they were later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple in 1963. He is survived by his wife; 3 children: Keith (Vicki), Kent (Ann) and Kenna (Ron) Edsall; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, all of Salt Lake City; siblings: Don (Mary), Beatrice and Joann, of California. Preceded in death by his eldest son Kevin; and grandson Timothy. The family wishes to thank Hearts for Hospice for their care, especially Amanda, for all the loving care she provided to Ken over the past 5 months. Services will be held Monday, December 31, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at the Kearns 10th Ward, 5025 W. 4865 S. where a viewing will be held Monday, 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home. Occupation:Truck Driver
