Kenneth Lloyd Larsen 1932-2014 Lloyd was born in Salt Lake City on January 17th, 1932 to Kenneth and Florence Larsen, and suddenly passed away on December 24th 2014. Married the love of his life on May 26th, 1951 and was later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on February 4, 1955. He was a devoted husband and father of 5: Dale Larsen, Karen (Quo) Atwood, Brenda (Mark) Tilby, Regina (Allan) Fee, and Laura Grames. Grandfather of 16, and Great Grandfather of 24. In his early career Lloyd traveled the western US drilling for Boyles Brothers, then later was employed by Kennecott Copper as a Carman. After retiring from Kennecott, he worked at the Mervyn's distribution center. He loved the outdoors, sunsets, hiking, camping, kayaking and spending time with all his family. He was always willing to serve others in need. Building projects were a favorite pastime and he was always tinkering out in the garage. Lloyd loved bowling and square dancing with his sweetheart, and playing pool with his friends and family. His sense of humor that was never lacking, and always had a joke for you. He served in the Army during the Korean War. And then in his later years he served in the Jordan River Temple. He was preceded in death by his dear sweet wife Joyce, daughter Laura, and parents. He will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the Granger 10th Ward, 3274 South Hillsdale Drive (2760-2860 West).
